Scientific/social programme (e-conference mode)

Academic sessions which consist of a combination of plenaries and parallel streams with oral presentations which will take place between Sunday 26th to Friday 31st of July. We will also have a poster session for students with an award.

Opening session (e-conference mode)

Officials and the local organizing committee will open the conference with an official welcome and give further information about the plans for the week on Monday. Other details will be provided to help you have a productive and enjoyable visit.

Poster session (e-conference mode)

The local organizing committee will lead the e-poster session located in virtual rooms (one e-room per student). Students produce an e-Video, an e-presentation etc. The poster session will be introduced by a short overview to all e-posters. Afterwards, the students  are "live" around for discussion during the e-poster session on Wednesday afternoon Austrian time. Students can access and prepare their e-rooms from 1st July onwards.

 

Please note that there will be a best paper award for the e-poster session including the best setup for the room. 

Keynotes (e-conference mode)

Prof. Dr. Peter Zweifel (Monday morning), Professor emeritus of the Department of Economics of the University of Zurich, and Prof. Greg Zaric, PhD (Tuesday afternoon), Faculty Director of Management Science, Ivey Business School, Canada (plus Canada Research Chair in Health Care Management Science).

Challenges and development in Health Care Prevention (e-conference mode)

This session is for anyone with an interest in and desire to strengthen health services research. The meeting is proceeded by distinguished national and international researchers and policy makers, moderated by Prof. Dr. Robert Fitzgerald, Head of the Karl Landsteiner Institute for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine and Head of the Health Political Forum.

It will take place on Tuesday afternoon in a virtual conference mode.
